Our ingredients
Véti-Sana formulas are made from active ingredients of natural origin from the plant, mineral and marine kingdoms, at concentrations adapted to each species. Our formulas are not tested on laboratory animals and are guaranteed paraben-free. Here are the ingredients found in our current products.
Essential oils
- Lemon: purifying; soothes itching
- Clove: calming, antioxidant
- Cypress: decongesting
- Eucalyptus: purifying, refreshing
- Lavender: soothes redness
- Peppermint: cooling effect
- Rosemary: draining
- Sage: astringent, toning
- Thyme: purifying, draining
- Basil: soothing
- Juniper (berries)
Plant oils and extracts
- Soybean oil: rich in omega-6, used for hydration
- Apricot kernel oil: amphiphilic, it allows water and oil to mix
- Coconut derivatives: mild plant-based cleansing agents
- Ivy extract: rich in minerals and trace elements
- Sage oleoresin: extract of common sage leaves (Salvia officinalis) that brings its aromatic compounds to the formula
Seaweed
Seaweed is remineralising and moisturising; it promotes drainage and skin purification. We use kelp (Laminaria digitata), remineralising and moisturising.
Minerals and trace elements
- Iron, copper and zinc: the 3 trace elements essential to the horse's hair, combined in Horse Hair Plus OF3
- Zinc: helps cleanse and calm the skin
- Organic silicon (monomethylsilanetriol): it differs from mineral silicon by the presence of carbon atoms bound to hydrogen; in this form, it is one of the elements of living matter, found in particular in tissues, cartilage and hair
Propolis
Propolis is a resin produced by bees to seal and cleanse the walls of the hive. Made of resin and balm (about 55%), wax (about 30%), volatile oils (about 10%) and pollen (about 5%), it helps cleanse and purify your animal's skin and coat.
